Do you Accept returns or exchanges?

Much of my work is custom/made-to-order. I do not accept returns or exchanges on any products at this time. However, if you have an issue with your order, please email me at hello@alexandraschmeling.com within 14 days of receiving your order (ie the date of delivery as shown through tracking). Unfortunately I cannot provide a refund/exchange after this time period.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

Please check the individual product listing for the most accurate estimated timelines! Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email and when your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Most of my products are shipped via USPS First Class mail, which usually arrives within the US in 3-5 days, though I have been seeing delays as we approach the holidays.

Who is responsible for customs fees?

The customer is responsible for any custom fees/taxes/duties/import fees that may be incurred once their package leaves Alexandra Schmeling Fine Art.

MY order arrived damaged/didn’t arrive/got delayed, what do I do?

Oh no! This is extremely rare. I want to work with you as best as I can to make sure you are happy with your order. Please contact me at hello@alexandraschmeling.com if you have a concern. Please note that I am not responsible for shipping delays on the side of the shipping carrier.

If a package has gone missing or has been damaged, the customer is required to notify me within two weeks (14 days) of receiving the shipping confirmation email so I can file a claim.

What if my order to returned to sender?

If customer error resulted in a package being returned to me, the customer will be responsible for paying any shipping costs to re-ship. If the error was on my side, I will reship the package at no additional cost.
